When encountering fog, dew, drizzle, ice melting, snow melting and other humid weather, the surface of the pin insulator absorbs moisture, the electrolyte in the pollution layer dissolves and ionizes, resulting in an increase in the conductivity of the pollution layer, and the surface leakage current of the needle insulator will Increase.

Different structural forms and characteristics make them have different characteristics and performance. Due to the influence of the shape, structure and size of the pin insulator, as well as the uneven distribution of the contamination layer on the surface of the pin insulator and the different degree of humidity, the current of each part of the insulator surface is affected.
